Engineer, Electrical

Provides Electrical and Instrument services to the plant, including technical support to maintenance personnel, driving reliability improvement efforts, capital project team membership, and cost reduction efforts. Responsibilities include: root cause failure analyses, select & drive innovative solutions, seek and implement reliability best practices, develop and optimize preventive maintenance work, specify critical equipment spare parts, identify and implement cost reduction initiatives, develop long range plans, support capital project teams. This position may participate on plant and company-wide teams that develop and implement strategic plans for reliability performance improvement. This position will also provide maintenance support by assisting E&I Supervisors, Specialists, Technicians, Planners and Engineers in troubleshooting issues and problems. Unit outages and turnaround work will also be supported by this position.
This position requires a B.S. Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the petrochemical/refining industry. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable safety, engineering and industry codes/standards. Thorough knowledge of process instrumentation, motors and motor controls, power distribution systems, interlock logic, PLC's, DCS's, predictive and preventive maintenance concepts, as well as troubleshooting skills are needed to effectively analyze, evaluate and maintain equipment performance and correct problems. Must have general knowledge of operating processes, project management, reliability engineering concepts, lighting systems and cost elimination. Experience in both maintenance activities and design engineering is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are critical.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
