Chief Financial Officer

The CFO will be responsible for the planning and execution of Patient Financial Services, Accounting, Health Information Management and Risk Management vision, goals and initiatives that support operational and long-term objectives, mission and vision of Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science field and accounting and/or finance or related experience, Master's required.
Five to ten years senior Financial experience in hospital or healthcare related organization.
Possess strong business acumen with proven experience in thinking strategically and implementing tactically.
Extensive knowledge of current and innovative health care administrative practices, physician relations, financial management, managed care contracting, compliance and legal issues.
CPA required.
Conveys a professional positive image and attitude.
Experience working through organizational change and managing multiple priorities.
Practices collaborative management with staff and physicians.
Demonstrate commitment to continued professional growth and development.
Persuasive verbal and written communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
