Senior systems Specialist

The Senior Systems Specialist is the team lead for the System Specialist and the Service Desk. This position is responsible for both administrative and technical aspects of the IT Service Desk. The administrative role consists of establishing schedules for the Service Desk team, being the 1st level of support for issues within the Service Desk team, assigning tasks and minor projects, overseeing the Service Desk customer rounding, resolving minor personnel issues within the Service Desk team, and assisting with disciplinary actions and annual reviews.
On the technical side, the Senior Systems Specialist is responsible for determining the builds that are installed on all PC's, the types of desktop devices deployed throughout MHHC, and owns the larger Service Desk projects. This position directs, guides, and/or mentors Helpdesk and Systems Specialists, to improve teamwork, knowledge, and customer service. He/she provides assistance and shares subject-matter expertise with team. This position is also second level support for all types of computer hardware including but not limited to workstations, printers, modems and the replacement and repair of same.
The Senior Systems Specialist acts as a primary end user contact for Service Desk level projects and provides second level help desk and onsite support to internal and external customers. He/She works with customers to answer inquiries, resolve problems, and coordinate second level support from the Infrastructure team if required. This includes providing status to users and assisting in problem resolution.
In addition, the Senior Systems Specialist acts as a point of escalation for PC Support questions and coordinates PC hardware and software projects and efforts as directed by the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure and Systems. This position is also required to stay abreast of the latest technology enhancements through continuous technical self-education and reading. He/she evaluates and reports up technologies that may be deemed appropriate for the business. He/she provides ROI analysis, if warranted.
High school diploma or equivalent required
College graduate preferred with a major in Computer Sciences, Math or related technical field.
Five plus years experience in a computer related field.
Certification in two of the following preferred: A+, Network +, Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Windows Active Directory technologies.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
Ability to communicate with other professionals
Ability to lead small project teams
Ability to analyze and recommendations on projects
Possess superior human relation skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
