Service Desk Technician

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Service Desk Technician is responsible for all types of computer hardware including but not limited to workstations, terminals, printers, modems, phones, and the replacement and repair of same. This position is also responsible for a variety of applications that reside on desktop IT devices. This position will be manning the service desk phones in IT and will be the 1st level of support for all IT related questions, request, and issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
College graduate preferred with a major in Computer Sciences, Math, or related technical field.
One to three years experience in a computer related field.
CompTIA A+, ACSP, or Microsoft Specialist certifications a plus.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
