The Engineering Manager will be responsible for development, proposal and implementation of goals for the Morris Site Engineering Department with SBU strategy in mind.  He/She will develop operational action plans and implement controls which assure targets are met and business opportunities are identified, assessed and implemented within the framework of the global strategy of the business. Core Member of the Site Leadership Team Reports To: Site Director Direct Reports: Sr. Process Engineer (1), Process Engineers (2), Sr. ProjectLeader (3), Automation Engineers (3), Process Safety Manager (1)   Responsibilities: - Provides daily engineering and troubleshooting support for plant operation, plant equipment and processes and utilities equipment - Supports the Site Director by ensuring the Morris Site Master Plan is kept current along with the associated 5-Year CAPEX long range plan  - Manages the Plant's Capital budget (CAPEX), prioritizes and schedules projects - Ensures accurate and timely CAPEX forecasting for entire project portfolio - Facilitates monthly site CAPEX meetings and provides output to the BUSC Asset Management Director - Identifies projects, prepares cost estimates and ARs, manages project implementations (i.e. construction, contractors, specifies equipment, procurement, start-up etc.) - Collaborates with P&E to manage projects which are determined to be of the complexity and size which requires centralized engineering office tomanage - Performs design reviews, pre start-up safety reviews, and initiates MOC's as needed - Maintains all engineering standards and procedures for the Morris plant - Drive the PSM standards and improvement process to ensure PHAs are completed, action items from PHAs are completed - Maintains and implements a hopper of acceptable Six Sigma engineering projects - Manages Engineering Department in a manner that promotes interdepartmental cooperation, and ensures that department goals are met - Communicates and promotes the approved BU-strategy and develops plans and budgets for plant engineering activities - Radiation Safety Officer for the site Environment, Health, Safety, and Security Specific Responsibilities:        - Understands and helps implement the SBU HSES / Responsible Care Policy and related objectives - Aware of potential environmental, health, safety and security impacts in area of responsibility and the consequences if an upset occurs - Understands and implements any parts of the Houston Environmental Compliance Plans, Waste Management Plans and Emergency Response Plan that applies to area of responsibility - Participates in the site's on-going Pollution Prevention Process - Participates in the site's HSE&S processes and training activities - Is knowledgeable and complies with all state, federal, and local regulations and complies with AkzoNobel standards and directives - Other duties as required by site director - Ensures sustainability assessments are done on projects according to the requirements of the corporation Job requirements/Candidate profile   - B.S. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
